Introduction
Iftar Time 2026 ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
- Location Data: We request access to your device's location solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. This data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
- App Usage Analytics: When you use the app, we collect pseudonymous usage data: a random identifier created when the app is installed, screen views and in-app actions (for example, opening the Pro screen or choosing a plan), session and engagement time, and technical information (device model, operating system version, app version, language and screen resolution). This data does not include your name, email address or location, and it is sent to our own servers (solvydevelopment.com).
- Purchase Information: When you start a purchase, the app attaches a random purchase reference to the store transaction and records the store's purchase token, so that the purchase can be matched to the same random identifier. We never receive your payment details.
- No Account Required: The app does not require an account or login, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Background Location (Optional)
Our app offers an optional feature that uses significant location change monitoring to automatically update prayer times when you travel. This feature is entirely optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time in the app settings. When enabled, the app only receives location updates when your device detects a significant change in position. No background location data is stored or transmitted to external servers.
How We Use Your Information
Location data is used exclusively for:
- Calculating precise iftar and suhoor times
- Determining prayer times based on your geographic coordinates
- Updating prayer times automatically when you travel (if background location is enabled)
- Determining the Qibla direction from your current location
Usage and purchase data are used to understand how the app is used, to measure subscription performance and to improve the app. We do not sell your data.
Data Storage
Your selected location and preferences are stored only on your device. Usage analytics are stored on our servers and are linked only to the random identifier, not to your identity. Uninstalling the app deletes this identifier from your device. To request deletion of your usage data, contact us at the email address below.
Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): crash reporting and basic analytics to help us improve app stability and performance. Firebase may collect device information, usage data and crash logs.
- Google AdMob: If you do not have Pro, the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID, where available), your IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. Pro users do not see ads. In-App Purchases
We offer an optional Pro subscription (yearly), a one-time lifetime purchase and optional tip jar purchases. These transactions are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
Children's Privacy
Our app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
